Two prop PAL communicators used in the Joss Whedon's TV series "Firefly". These PALs are obsolete Firefighters' distress signal units acquired by Firefly's Art Department to serve as Serenity's crew communication devices. The PALs were widely used in and around the ship sets as well as adapted for the cast to wear on their character’s costume. Although difficult to screen-match with precision, the two PALs acquired present "tells" which are missing from the other PALs I saw, and which could place them in the "Ariel" episode.
