Florbela (2012)
Apeles' aviator wings

This is a very special pair of aviator wings. They were used in the 2012 film by Vicente Alves do Ó, "Florbela", about four days in the life of the famous Portuguese poetess, Florbela Espanca, starring Dalila Carmo as Florbela, Ivo Canelas as Apeles, and Albano Jerónimo as Mário. The wings were used by one of the main characters, Apeles, on nearly the whole film. But they were also used by me as an aviation officer, in a scene I appear in. So these are oh-so-special, as it's my own prop! :)

They were a gift from the director, Vicente Alves do Ó.

Here it is used by me :)

And here by Ivo Canelas as Apeles.

Quinze Pontos na Alma / Under My Skin (2011)
Guilherme's Tombstone

In Vicente Alves do Ó's 2011 film, "Quinze Pontos na Alma / Under My Skin", Simone meets a stranger who is about to commit suicide. A brief but strong connection is made and, when Guilherme jumps, Simone assumes the role of the widow.

This is the tombstone used in the graveyard scene. The tombstone is made of styrofoam, painted to look like real stone, and was placed in a real family tomb.

A gift from the director, Vicente Alves do Ó.

Alice the cat seemed to really want to be in the picture, so why not? :)

Quinze Pontos na Alma / Under My Skin (2011)
Set of director's call-sheets

This is a set of Vicente Alves do Ó's own call-sheets, from his first feature-length film, "Quinze Pontos na Alma" (2011). The set includes #1-6, 10,11, 13-16, 18-23, 25-29, 31, 33, 34, 36.

I'm in the very last one (#36), rather vaguely described as "Actor 19th Century" for scene 83, but was unfortunately cut from the final film. Hopefully I'm in the DVD's deleted scenes... :)

Hat-box and hat

These are the hat-box and white feathers hat that Tia Carmen (Júlia Correia) brings Rosa (Carmen Bothelho) from Rio de Janeiro. The hat-box was modified with a custom label to appear old and the white feathers hat was purchased in a vintage 1920's clothing shop in London.

Entre o Desejo e o Destino (2004)
Coat worn by Júlia Correia as Tia Carmen

Coat used by Júlia Correia-Lagos as Carmen in the 2004 film by Vicente Alves do Ó, "Entre o Desejo e o Destino". This coat was modelled by Marcelo Meledrera after the one used by Lauren Baccall in "Designing Woman".
